Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher in Kissimmee, FL. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing space for children to learn and grow. You will partner with parents to ensure the highest quality care while supporting center goals and community engagement.

The role requires Florida DCF 45-hour training, CDA or NAEYC candidacy, and CPR/First Aid. Strong English communication and physical stamina to lift up to 40 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Must show proof of Florida DCF 45-hour training completion.
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to engage with children and parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support your center's success; work with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
