Job summary

KinderCare in Orlando, FL is seeking a dedicated lead preschool teacher to guide a classroom, mentor peers, and ensure the curriculum meets each child’s needs while maintaining a safe, nurturing space for play and learning. You will partner with families and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement, while building relations with licensing authorities and partners.

CDA/NAEYC candidacy, state trainer (preferred), CPR/First Aid, and English proficiency are

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum to fit each child's unique needs
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive enrollment, accreditation and engagement
• Build positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
• Deliver outstanding customer service with strong organizational and multitasking skills
