Qualifications

• Experience with children in daycare, camps, youth groups, or tutoring.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• First aid, CPR, AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with children with special needs or inclusive settings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with children and families.
• Background in early childhood education preferred.
• Additional experience in sports coaching, theater arts, babysitting, or Christian counseling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with homework.
• Supervise and manage classroom activities to ensure safety and inclusion.
• Implement age-appropriate educational activities promoting development.
• Engage children in creative play and enrichment programs.
• Enforce behavior management to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
