Job summary

Brockton Public Schools Hancock PreK-5 Elementary School in Brockton, Massachusetts seeks qualified staff for Before and/or After School Support at Baker School. Each school will fill 2 hours daily in flexible schedules chosen by the principal.

Roles are for full-time staff across teaching, support, or administrative categories offering hourly compensation. Positions require strong communication, classroom management with many students, and the ability to handle multiple demands before and after

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with students and parents.
• Ability to manage a large number of students.
• Able to manage multiple demands.
• Available either prior to school, after school, or both.

Responsibilities

• Support dismissal process.
• Ensure students safely arrive to and/or exit school grounds.
• Ensure students waiting for rides remain in designated areas.
• Assist students waiting for rides access the telephone if needed.
• Manage main office duties, as needed.
• Other responsibilities to support safe arrival and departure of all students as assigned by the principal or designee.
