Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Substitute Educator for after-school programming in the United States. The role runs Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6pm, with flexible shifts.

You will organize materials, deliver our daily curriculum, support homework, and supervise activities to foster learning, character-building, and safe play. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience with children under 13, strong communication, and the ability to lift 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Bilingual: Mandarin & English.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities; document attendance and incidents.
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children and support school-day learning.
• Model positive guidance and classroom management; assist with homework and supervise activities.
• Lead fitness activities and guide children at play while ensuring safety and well-being.
• Maintain regular communication with the Program Manager regarding progress and accountability.
