Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District is seeking a part-time team member to assist in the daily processes and activities during the 181-day school year. The role runs 17.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m.

to 6:00 p.m., and reports to the Community Education Director. Responsibilities include building rapport with students and families, supporting Site Lead and Aides, exercising initiative, and performing duties safely.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Current QCUSD High School Student preferred.
• Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules.
• Excellent customer service and reliability.
• For those 18+: Must pass a background clearance and must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25 -30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move.
• Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and families
• Learns all essential skills within a reasonable time span
• Assists Site Lead and Site Aides with necessary tasks:
• Be willing to take initiative
• Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
