Job summary

Black Rocket Productions LLC. is hiring an after-school technology teacher to support our dynamic program for students aged 8–14. The role involves assisting lead instructors with project-based learning in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing and game design.

These are part-time, hourly positions with paid training. Candidates should be available weekdays after school, bring enthusiasm for technology, and be prepared to engage with elementary and middle school students in a classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Must be available after school hours (approx. 2:00–6:00 PM), daily Monday–Friday.
• Experience with technology or teaching preferred.
• Instructors must be at least 21 years old and have significant experience working with children ages 8–14.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Instructors to guide students through project-based curriculum.
• Provide in-room teaching experience with excited students in after-school programs.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals towork as Assistant Instructors in our after school programs. Assistantinstructors support our Lead Instructors to guide students through ourworld class, project based learning curriculum to discover newtechnology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, gamedesign and more!

Full school year in 10 week sessions, with options to continueinto additional seasons

Get in-room teaching experience with excited students

No formal experience required, but teaching experience in somecapacity highly preferred

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completed 48 college units minimally OR have taken and passed theNCLB Exam or compliant equivalent

Experience with technology or teaching preferred

Must be available after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 6:00PM), daily Monday - Friday

Consistent attendance is REQUIRED, substitutes are not available

Instructors must be at least 21 years of age and have significantexperience working with children ages 8-14 or technology, both iseven better!

This is an after-school, part-time, hourly position

$17/hr - $18/hr
