Job summary

Black Rocket Productions LLC seeks Lead Instructors for after-school programs across Central NJ. You will guide students ages 8-14 through our project-based curriculum in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing, game design, robotics and more. Seasonal, 8–16 weeks with potential continuation.

Hours 3:00–6:30 PM, M-F (sites vary). Must be at least 21, with strong technology skills and teaching experience preferred.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals towork as Lead Instructors in our after school programs in Central NJ.Lead instructors guide students through our world class project basedlearning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding,Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design, robotics and more!

Seasonal (8-16 weeks), with options to continue into additional seasons

Get in-room technology experience with excited students

PAID training!

No formal experience required, but teaching experience in somecapacity and strong tech skills highly preferred

Requirements

Experience with technology or teaching preferred

Reliable transportation throughout Central or Northern, NJ - Mostsites are in Central NJ

Must be available to teach from 3:00 - 6:30 PM, M-F, schedulesare typically M/W, T/TH, with some Friday and Saturdayopportunities

Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years of age and haveexperience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology

Experience with children in an educational setting preferred butnot required

Comfortable working with teacher to student ratios of 12/1

Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3Dmodeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design,animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitivegaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox,including modding or streaming

Preference will be given to those who are most flexible on theirlocation and available for multiple sites.

This is a seasonal, part-time, hourly position

Lead Instructor ranging from 17-22 hourly

Opportunities for summer employment of 35-40 hours per week inour camps after completing a school year session.
