Job summary

Black Rocket Productions LLC. seeks enthusiastic people to join as Lead Instructors for after-school technology programs in Fresno. You will guide students through a world-class curriculum including coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing and game design, with paid training provided.

Work is part-time, after school (roughly 2:00–6:00 PM, some Tuesday hours), in-room teaching for students ages 8–14. Prior teaching experience is preferred; transportation to Fresno Unified is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completed 48 college units minimally OR have taken and passed the NCLB Exam or compliant equivalent.
• Experience with technology or teaching preferred.
• Reliable transportation throughout Fresno Unified School District with ability to transport approximately 30 lbs of equipment.
• Available after school hours (2:00–6:00PM), Monday–Friday with earlier start on Tuesdays (1:00–6:00 PM).
• Consistent attendance is REQUIRED, substitutes are not available.
• Instructors must be at least 21 years old with experience working with children ages 8–14 or technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructors guide students through a project-based technology curriculum.
• Teach after-school programs in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing, game design and related tech skills.
• Provide in-room teaching experience across multiple 10-week sessions.
• PAID training to prepare for classroom responsibilities.

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after school programs. Lead instructors guide students through our world class, project based learning curriculum to discover new technology skills in coding,Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design and more!

Full school year in 10 week sessions, with options to continue into additional seasons

Get in-room teaching experience with excited students

No formal experience required, but teaching experience in some capacity highly preferred

PAID training!

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completed 48 college units minimally OR have taken and passed the NCLB Exam or compliant equivalent

Experience with technology or teaching preferred

Reliable transportation throughout Fresno Unified School District with ability to transport approximately 30 lbs of equipment

Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc. or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streaming

This is an after-school, part-time, hourly position

$20/hr - $27/hr
