Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AA or BA preferred.
• Meets educational and licensing requirements including 12 ECE units.
• 1 year of experience in a professional child care or school-age program.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community.
• At least 18 years of age; background checks required.
• Pre-employment health screening and TB clearance; CPR/First Aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement curriculum within guidelines and prepare supplies.
• Work with staff to ensure program quality.
• Provide direction to assistants and aides as needed.
• Support child development and safety; reinforce positive behaviors.
• Maintain program records and communicate with families.
