Job summary

Apollo After School is hiring for Assistant Site Directors in Brookside, NJ. Seasonal positions support the extended-day program, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for PK-8 students after school.

Responsibilities include running activities, coordinating logistics with leadership, and maintaining accurate records while communicating with parents and school staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience working with school-age youth (ages 4-10) in a school/after-school setting.
• Applicants must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in management with at least 5 employees as direct reports.
• Associate’s Degree -or- Equivalent Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day.
• Manage daily program operations and logistics, in coordination with Apollo leadership.
• Ensure the safety and security of children enrolled.
• Supervise all aspects of your site’s before and after-school program.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, parents, school staff, and administration; communicate with parents during pick-up times.
