Job summary

Apollo After School is seeking Assistant Site Directors for the Mendham, NJ area. This seasonal role supports the extended-day program, with duties that include leading activities, coordinating operations, and ensuring child safety. Seasonal start aligns with the 2026-2027 school year.

Starting at $23 per hour depending on experience, hours are after-school 2:30pm–6:00pm, Monday through Friday; location may vary by site. Equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience working with school-age youth (ages 4-10) in a school/after-school setting.
• Minimum 6 months of management experience with at least 5 direct reports.
• Associate’s Degree - or - Equivalent Experience.
• Applicants must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day.
• Manage daily program operations and logistics in coordination with Apollo leadership.
• Ensure the safety and security of children enrolled.
• Supervise all aspects of the before- and after-school program at your site.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, parents, staff, and administration.
• Maintain records, attendance, dismissal data, and program data for reporting and improvement.
