Job summary

Kids in the Game in New York is seeking an on-site After School Site Director for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time role runs September through June with potential summer camps, overseeing 30–100 students at a single site and supervising 5–15 staff.

You will ensure safe, engaging programming aligned with our mission, coordinate with families, schools and internal teams, and lead daily huddles, training, and program design to deliver high-quality activities.

Qualifications

• Energetic, organized, and team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel to NYC schools and the Kids in the Game office.
• Experience in youth programming or after-school settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 5–15 part-time staff and lead daily huddles.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the after-school program at a single site.
• Design weekly/monthly schedules and coordinate activities across sports, arts, and STEM.
• Maintain strong family and school partner communications and address incidents or concerns.
• Ensure programming aligns with Kids in the Game mission, values, and quality standards.
