Job summary

AlphaBEST Education in Crandall, TX is seeking a Site Director to lead our after-school program. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, schedules, staffing, and documentation, while delivering a safe, high-quality experience for children and families.

You will oversee curriculum implementation, ensure licensing compliance, coach your site team, and represent AlphaBEST at school and community events. A BA/BS or CDA in education is required and a background check must be cleared.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or CDA in education required.
• Background check required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor the site team, providing coaching and ensuring training requirements are met.
