Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc. in Argyle, TX seeks a Site Director for the after-school program. The role leads day-to-day site operations, supervises staff, ensures curriculum delivery, and maintains licensing readiness. Pay starts at $20.50/hour, with hours 3:00 pm–6:30 pm, Monday–Friday (no weekends).

You will build a safe, engaging environment, manage attendance and documentation, and foster strong partnerships with families and school staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or CDA in education required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met.
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events.
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.

As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.

Position details

Site: AlphaBEST Education - Argyle, TX - Argyle ISD

Pay: Starting at $20.50 an hour, based on education

Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday (No weekends! Part-time)

Qualifications

• Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education

• At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
