Job summary

Elevo is seeking an Afterschool Program Facilitator in Berkeley to lead K–8 students through structured activities and sports using Elevo’s curriculum. You’ll manage group dynamics, support positive student behavior, and partner with school staff to create a welcoming program environment.

You’ll serve as a positive role model and arrive consistently ready to engage students. The role focuses on after-school hours, with a strong emphasis on SEL and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or leading youth in any setting.
• Strong role model presence and positive attitude.
• Ability to manage groups up to 20 students and adapt to shifts.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.; pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening.
• 18+ with high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lead K–8 students through structured activities using Elevo curriculum.
• Manage group dynamics and support positive student behavior.
• Partner with school staff and fellow coaches to create a welcoming program environment.
• Show up consistently as a role model who helps students build confidence and social skills.
