Apollo After School is seeking an outgoing Receptionist for our school-based program in Washington, DC. You will greet students and parents, help with student dismissal, and ensure only authorized individuals enter the building.

Responsibilities include contacting students to confirm pickup, maintaining a safe environment, and promptly reporting security concerns. The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 6 months in security and childcare.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in security.
• Minimum 6 months experience in childcare.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Greeting students and parents with a positive attitude.
• Managing student dismissal to run efficiently.
• Controlling access to the building for authorized personnel only.
• Contacting students to confirm pickup.
• Providing a safe and secure school environment.
• Actively responding to incidents threatening school security.
• Reporting unusual activity promptly.
• Communicating with Apollo staff at the location.
