Job summary

Right At School, based in New Jersey, is hiring a Program Manager to lead our before- and after-school extended day programs across local districts. You will ensure safe, engaging experiences and coordinate staff, families, and schools to deliver our mission of inspiring a love of learning.

The role emphasizes safety, communication, and daily routines, with pay rate $20.00–$23.00 per hour and Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience balancing competing priorities while delivering quality service to stakeholders.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Experience with children and knowledge of special needs.
• Coursework or training in child development or related field.
• Strong oral, written, and visual communication with adults and children.
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Joy: model safety and joy standards; keep site documents and licensing up to date; outline attendance policies and ensure tasks are completed; coach staff for teamwork.
• Safety Assurance: support safety protocols and submit proof of MMR as required.
• Effective Communication: engage with families, partners, peers, and children; respond to inquiries during program hours; coordinate with Area Manager.
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain records for student check-ins/check-outs; follow name-to-face attendance procedures.
• Daily Routine: implement daily activities, fitness, and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment.
