Job summary

Hokali, Inc. is looking for an energetic after-school group leader in Pleasant Hill, CA. You will supervise up to 20 students from TK through 8th grade, creating a positive, safe, and engaging after-school experience.

You will run activities, assist with homework, and reinforce positive behavior while following Hokali's lesson plans. Training in safety and behavior management is required, with on-site support from a Site Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience independently leading groups of children.
• Ability to keep a group engaged and safe in a structured environment.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a group of up to ~20 students TK–8th grade after school.
• Keep every child safe throughout the program.
• Run recreational activities and games.
• Help students with homework.
• Manage behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Handle snack time and outdoor play.
• Keep attendance and incident records.
• Follow Hokali's lesson plans.
• Work with on-site Site Coordinator support.
