Job summary

Hokali, Inc. operates after-school programs that book, organize, and manage camps and activities for students. This role focuses on leading a group of children after school, maintaining a safe, engaging, and structured environment with on-site support from a Site Coordinator.

You will supervise activities, assist with homework, and implement positive reinforcement to manage behavior and ensure a calm, productive afternoon for students from TK through middle school.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of hands-on experience leading groups of children.
• Experience leading games and activities for groups of children.
• Experience keeping attendance records for groups of children.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States; available every weekday afternoon.
• Willingness to complete mandated trainings before starting (First Aid & CPR, Mandated Reporter, Concussion Awareness).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a group of up to approximately 20 students after school.
• Keep every child safe throughout the program.
• Run recreational activities and games.
• Help students with homework.
• Manage behavior using positive reinforcement.
• Handle snack time and outdoor play.
• Keep attendance and incident records.
• Follow HOKALI's lesson plans.
• Work with support from an on-site Site Coordinator.
