YMCA of Greenville is seeking a program leader to direct the Afterschool/ASCC program at the branch level. You will manage operations, staffing, curriculum development, and daily execution to deliver high-quality, safe childcare experiences.

Responsibilities include coordinating registrations, supervising staff and volunteers, and ensuring compliance with licensing and YMCA standards. You will partner with leadership to grow programs and engage the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Two+ years supervisory experience in school-aged childcare, teen programming, or day camp.
• Must be at least 20 years old and able to drive a bus; clean driving record.
• Knowledge of childcare licensing, YMCA standards, and ACA standards for day camps.
• Strong interpersonal, public relations, and communications skills, including presentations.
• Experience supervising staff and volunteers, values education, and fundraising.
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
• Mandatory training in New Staff Orientation, BBP/Child Abuse Prevention, and CPR/First Aid within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Lead after-school program operations at the branch.
• Hire, train, and supervise part-time staff and volunteers.
• Develop high-quality childcare curricula and activities.
• Plan registrations and schedule use of branch facilities.
• Coordinate field trips and transportation for participants.
• Expand program activities in line with strategic plans.
• Engage with community partners and promote childcare programs.
• Uphold YMCA leadership attributes in daily practice.
