Job summary

Children's Home Society of Florida is seeking an Expanded Learning Coordinator to lead and oversee Community Partnership School-related extended learning and enrichment programs across Florida. You will help implement before-, during-, and after-school activities, ensure safe operations, and build strong collaborations with schools and community partners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree strongly preferred; Bachelor’s in Education or Human Services acceptable.
• Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire and daily access to a reliable vehicle.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school or community agency setting.
• 1 year experience implementing or supervising a positive learning environment preferred.
• Knowledge of SCHOOL PROGRAMMING | VOLUNTEER COORDINATION.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee before-, during-, and after-school programs.
• Coordinate development and implementation of academic, cultural and recreational activities.
• Maintain sign-in logs, participant files and required paperwork.
• Oversee facility management including safety, custodial, classroom and transportation.
• May transport students or arrange transportation.
• Maintain distribution and accounting of snack program.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations and school staff.
• Coordinate evaluation processes including surveys of students, parents and staff.
• Facilitate regular after-school meetings and professional development.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers for after-school programming.
• Coordinate and serve as point of contact for YMCA extended day services (if applicable).
• Provide supervision to on-site YMCA after-school program and attend trainings.
