Job summary

UCP of Central Florida is seeking an Expanded Learning Coordinator to lead and implement after-school enrichment, tutoring, mentoring, and summer programs at a UCP Charter School campus as part of the Full-Service Community Schools initiative.

You will collaborate with school leadership, families, and community partners to provide engaging learning opportunities beyond the traditional day, focusing on student growth, engagement, and well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, public administration, community development, or a related field.
• Experience with children or youth in educational, after-school, or community programs.
• Experience coordinating programs or activities for youth.
• Familiarity with 21st Century Community Learning Center programs or expanded learning initiatives is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities.
• Strong relationships with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Expanded Learning Program Leadership: Coordinate and implement after-school enrichment, tutoring, mentoring, summer enrichment and academic support programs.
• Direct Student Engagement: Provide direct instruction and facilitation of small-group enrichment activities, tutoring, and mentoring.
• After-School Program Coordination: Manage scheduling, staff recruitment, and program logistics for safe, engaging activities.
• Family and Community Engagement: Coordinate family workshops, student showcases, and community events; partner with organizations.
• Attendance and Student Engagement Support: Promote attendance and positive school climate; identify students needing enrichment.
• Data Collection & Reporting: Maintain records for 21st CCLC and Community School programs; assist with data collection and grant reporting.
