Job summary

YWCA Central Massachusetts Inc seeks a Site Coordinator for the Roosevelt School after-school program. You will manage daily activities, maintain a safe environment, and coordinate staff in a confidential, developmentally appropriate setting that aligns with DEEC/QRIS standards.

You will also build relationships with school staff and families, ensure accurate record keeping and licenses, and support program enhancements, including grants and SAYO reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to cooperate with coworkers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or related field with 6 months of school-aged child experience, OR a degree in any field with 9 months of school-aged child experience.
• Experience working with families from diverse backgrounds.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform light housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staff, including substitutes, to meet program needs.
• Supervise staff in a supportive manner to promote positive communication.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for children and ensure health/safety standards.
• Build relationships with school administrators and families.
• Attend center meetings and complete required trainings (First Aid/CPR, 20 hours/year).
• Assist with enrollment, licensing records, and program documentation.
• Support grant implementation and reporting as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain SAYO records and PRO/ PQ Registry as required.
