Job summary

Webster Groves School District is seeking a lead for the after-school program to promote safe educational development and motivate staff and volunteers. The role requires strong administrative skills and the ability to model positive human relations while aligning with district policies.

Preferred candidates hold a Master's in administration or education and Missouri certifications; teaching experience is required, with administrative experience favored.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in administration preferred; a Master’s Degree in education is required.
• Missouri administrator certification preferred; Missouri teacher certification is required.
• Educational administrative experience preferred; five (5) years of teaching experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage parent communication for the after-school program
• Maintain communication with the building principal
• Manage communication with community partners
• Ensure central aspects of the Freedom Schools model (i.e. Harambee and Read Aloud) occur with fidelity
• Coordinate and provide supervision for the after-school program arrival and departure process
• Coordinate the after-school program materials for staff and volunteers
• Support volunteers with student needs (i.e. behavior management)
• Perform other duties as assigned
