Arc Experience seeks a part-time Program Leader to supervise after-school activities at Webster Elementary in Long Beach. You will greet students, guide homework help, and run enrichment activities, creating engaging clubs and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
Good communicator able to talk to kids and parents comfortably.
College transcripts showing 48+ college credits or pass academic proficiency exam.
TB test and negative result and Live Scan background check.
Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus for the resume.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome kids to the program at the end of their school day.
Organize and lead activities including homework help, recreation games, arts and crafts, and educational projects.
Join indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
Create clubs for students (career readiness, cooking, anime, dance, etc.).
Maintain a secure environment by following safety protocols and supervising group dynamics.
Oversee safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet diverse needs.
