Job summary

Theuniversityunion is seeking a Site Coordinator in Apex, NC to oversee after-school programming under the Youth Director. You will coordinate activities, supervise staff, and maintain strong communication with campers, parents, and the program director to ensure alignment with the YMCA's mission.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:50 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. with base pay of $15 per hour and an additional $2 per hour for Before School programs, totaling $17/hour in that scope.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience with youth.
• Experience in program development and supervision of staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• YMCA BLS/First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and lead after-school programming while supervising staff.
• Maintain communication with staff, campers, and parents.
• Develop daily schedules and place staff in activities to promote growth.
• Open and close the program daily.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility and equipment.
