Job summary

YMCA of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Site Supervisor at the William G White Jr Family YMCA to oversee before and after school programs. This role involves leading staff and children, building relationships with families, and ensuring program compliance with YMCA guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a high school education, experience working with children, and strong leadership skills. Flexibility in work hours is preferred, and CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school education or up to one month related experience or training.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Experience working with children and a diverse community.
• Desire and ability to work with all ages (K-5, teen and team members).
• Desire to lead from the front.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and children in a before and after school setting.
• Coordinate and supervise staff with a focus on character development.
• Build effective relationships with staff, students, and parents.
• Maintain records as required.
• Participate in aquatics activities during out-of-school time.
