Job summary

YMCA of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a part-time Site Supervisor for the Yadkin Family YMCA in Yadkinville, NC. The role oversees after-school programs, leads staff and children, and ensures safety and curriculum alignment at a YMCA site.

The ideal candidate is 21+, with strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including before/after school hours. CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; or related experience.
• Minimum age 21.
• Experience working with children and diverse communities.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred; ability to be flexible with schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site per YMCA guidelines and prepare curriculum.
• Build relationships with staff, students, and parents; encourage volunteer involvement.
• Maintain records (attendance, forms, etc.).
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Follow YMCA safety procedures; complete required reports as necessary.
• Keep site organized; report damaged equipment.
• Participate in aquatic activities during out-of-school time.
• Collaborate with school personnel and YMCA staff; provide customer service to parents and participants; assist with monthly reports and Parent Advisory Committee meetings.
• Schedule and plan site activities aligned with curriculum; uphold HEPA standards.
