Job summary

U.S. Dream Academy in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Part-Time Program Assistant to support elementary and middle school students after school. The role focuses on academic support, enrichment activities, and a positive, structured learning environment.

The position is onsite in Baltimore from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with benefits including paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays. Experience with youth in educational settings is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or youth in school or after-school settings preferred.
• Retired educators are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students during after-school programming.
• Provide homework support and assist with enrichment activities.
• Facilitate activities and keep students engaged and participating.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, structured, youth-centered environment.
• Support daily program routines and smooth transitions.
• Build positive relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with program staff including the Program Associate and Center Director.
