Job summary

Ludlow Boys & Girls Club in Ludlow, MA is seeking a Group Leader for its After School Program, an EEC licensed school-age childcare program. The role offers part-time, non-exempt hours, $17.00 per hour, Monday through Friday 2:30-5:30 PM, reporting to the School Age Director.

Responsibilities include supervising and engaging youth with high-yield activities, modeling positive behavior, ensuring safety, maintaining attendance, and supporting other group leaders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months experience working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, guidance, and programming for school-age children.
• Serve as a positive role model and support to Assistant Group Leaders.
• Engage youth with high-yield activities promoting academic success and healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain safety, attendance, and orderly transitions between activities.
• Enforce rules consistently and participate in staff meetings.
• Provide first aid when needed and document injuries promptly.
