Job summary

The Mentoring Alliance in Longview, TX is seeking an After School Program Leader to guide elementary students in enrichment activities after school hours. This ministry-minded, part-time role focuses on fostering youth development and serving as a positive role model in the community. You will work Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m.

to 6:00 p.m. during the school year, with CPR/First Aid training required and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Agree with and uphold Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
• Experience with elementary school-aged children preferred
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Responsibilities

• Lead enrichment activities for elementary students in after-school settings
• Supervise and mentor students during after-school hours (2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
• Ensure safety and behavior management during program activities
• Serve as a positive role model and represent the ministry in the community
