Job summary

Mentoring Alliance is seeking an After School Program Leader to guide elementary students through enrichment activities after school. This non-exempt, part-time role emphasizes youth development within a faith-based ministry and provides an opportunity to model Christian values in the community.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., with an emphasis on safe, engaging activities and dependable transportation for staff in Longview, Texas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old
• High School Diploma or GED preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Passion and love for working with elementary school children
• Experience with elementary school children preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• CPR/First Aid certification mandatory
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver’s license or valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
