Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking an After School Director/Assistant Director level supervisor for the school-based child care program. You will provide active supervision, engage with students in activities, and promote positive relationships within the school and broader community.

The role emphasizes safety, following district policies, and collaborating with the director and staff to deliver high-quality activities. Training and certifications may be required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• The assistant must be at least 16 years of age.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
• Ability to work with school age children.

Responsibilities

• Active supervision of students in the school-based child care program under guidance of a leader.
• Develop and promote good community relations among school clientele.
• Complete tasks assigned by director or leader and follow procedures in ECS manual.
• Participate with students in structured and unstructured activities.
• Maintain safe conditions for students and staff.
• Follow program discipline policies and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities and program quality.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff and coworkers.
• Follow district policies and use facilities with care.
