Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles seeks a Site Coordinator for Beyond the Bell Grant to lead a high-quality after-school program on an LAUSD campus. You will coach staff, build strong school, family, and community partnerships, and deliver engaging enrichment experiences.

The role focuses on youth development, belonging, and safety, guiding teams to provide impactful programming on weekdays during the school year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Child Development, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Experience leading adults and working with school age children in a group setting.
• Ability to implement age-appropriate, developmentally appropriate youth programs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead grant-funded after-school program on an LAUSD campus.
• Coach and support YMCA Team Members to deliver engaging experiences.
• Build relationships with school staff, families, and community partners.
• Create activities that promote academic achievement, leadership, belonging, and youth development.
