Job summary

Living Resources Corp in New York is seeking After School Program Instructors & Lead Instructors for several sites. The role supports program participants through activity planning, recreation, arts and crafts, meal prep, and community activities to foster independence.

Current shifts are Part-Time, 1:45pm - 6pm at Colonie and Rotterdam; Part-Time 2:15pm - 6pm at Clifton Park. Candidates should be 18+, have HS diploma or GED, and a NYS driver's license to transport participants.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • HS diploma or GED required.
  • NYS Driver's License preferred for transporting participants.
  • Experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist program participants in planned activities (arts & crafts, recreation, meals, community utilization).
  • Support self-sufficiency and independence through daily living activities and outings.

Living Resources is seeking After School Program Instructors & Lead Instructors for several of our sites.

The After School Program Instructor will assist program participants in all created activities such as activity planning, recreational activities, arts and crafts, meal planning/prep, and community utilization activities, which promote the self-sufficiency and independence of the program participants.

Current shifts: Part - Time, 1:45pm - 6pm at Colonie & Rotterdam locations

Part - Time, 2:15pm - 6pm at Clifton Park location

Requirements

We would like to speak with those that are:

  • Have experience with people with developmental disabilities, preferred.
