Job summary

Living Resources Corporation in New York is seeking After School Program Instructors and Lead Instructors for several sites. The role involves assisting program participants with planned activities, recreational games, arts and crafts, meal prep, and community activities to promote self-sufficiency and independence.

Current shifts include Part-Time 1:45pm - 6pm at Colonie and Rotterdam, and Part-Time 2:15pm - 6pm at Clifton Park.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Have a valid NYS Driver's License for transporting individuals to activities.
  • Experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist program participants in activities such as planning, recreation, arts and crafts, and community utilization.
  • Assist with meal planning/prep for the group.
  • Support self-sufficiency and independence of participants through engagement in activities.
