Job summary

Living Resources is seeking After School Program Instructors and Lead Instructors for several sites. The role involves assisting participants with activities including planning, recreation, arts and crafts, meal prep, and community activities to promote self-sufficiency.

Current shifts are Part-Time, 1:45pm - 6pm at Colonie & Rotterdam locations, and Part-Time, 2:15pm - 6pm at Clifton Park. Strong compassion, 18+ years, HS diploma or GED required, NYS driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

  • Candidates show genuine compassion and patience when supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Demonstrates teamwork, reliability and a willingness to learn and adapt to varying shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist program participants in activities such as planning, recreation, arts and crafts.
  • Support meal planning/prep and community utilization activities.
  • Promote self-sufficiency and independence for participants.

Requirements

We would like to speak with those that are:



  • Passionate about making a difference

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED

  • Have a valid NYS Driver's License for transporting individuals to community activities

  • Have experience with people with developmental disabilities, preferred.
