Job summary

Living Resources is seeking After School Program Instructors & Lead Instructors for several sites. We offer part-time shifts including 1:45pm-6pm in Colonie and Rotterdam, and 2:15pm-6pm in Clifton Park to support program participants in activities and community engagement.

We value compassion, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Paid training is provided, and the role emphasizes helping individuals with disabilities lead active, independent lives in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a valid NYS Driver's License for transporting individuals to community activities.
• Experience with people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist program participants in all planned activities such as activity planning, recreational activities, arts and crafts, meal planning/prep, and community utilization activities.
• Support and accompany participants on site and in community settings to promote self-sufficiency and independence.
• Provide a caring, patient presence and help create a positive, inclusive environment.
