Job summary

YMCA San Antonio is seeking an After School Site Director for the Boerne/UTSA area. This part-time, on-site role will manage after-school youth leaders, coordinate with school personnel, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across YMCA sites.

The director will develop and supervise age-appropriate activities, train staff, maintain facilities, and build strong partnerships with school districts to support youth development and healthy living in the community.

Qualifications

• Must meet childcare licensing requirements.
• 1 year experience in licensed childcare or related field preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Develop positive relationships with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supervises after school youth leaders.
• Implements ongoing developmentally appropriate activity program at each site.
• Maintains the facility, restrooms, and grounds in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Implements and supervises the food service program for each site.
• Implements and supervises health, safety, and risk management for each site.
• Secures and maintains resources and supplies for daily site operations.
• Plans and conducts meetings with staff and volunteers to share updates.
