Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking an ASP Director to provide leadership and coordination for the After School Program in Marietta, GA. This role reports to the Principal and is part of the Accountability and Research division, with salary per ASP Salary Schedule and pay frequency varying by primary job.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), a Georgia teaching certificate preferred, CPR/First Aid certification, and at least 3 years in education with 1 year supervising

Qualifications

• Educational level: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Certification/license: Georgia teaching certificate preferred; CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience: 3 years in education or related field with at least 1 year supervising child care.
• Physical activities: Routine physical activities to fulfill job responsibilities.
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication, instructional strategies, student management, computer skills, math aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular daily attendance.
• Supervises the After-School Program operation and staff.
• Oversees daily snacks and drinks for the ASP program.
• Oversees student and instructor activities.
• Schedules instructors for each month.
• Reviews and approves timesheets and payroll accuracy.
• Plans and schedules enrichment activities and instructors.
• Coordinates special activities.
• Ensures materials, supplies and equipment are available; inventory tech.
• Communicates with parents as needed.
• Conducts ASP staff meetings.
• Works with school secretary for HR forms for new hires and terminations.
• Implements site safety plan as directed by the Principal.
• Oversees ASP budgeted salary and supply expenses.
• Reviews ASP Financial Statement monthly with Principal.
• Ensures attendance and payment posting is accurate and timely.
• Approves registration contracts and schedule changes.
• Retains ASP financial records per retention schedule.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
