Job summary

Mountain Road Elementary School in Woodstock, Georgia is seeking an ASP Worker to support after-school programs and supervise students in daily activities. You will assist with roll calls, plan activities, maintain records, and ensure safety and orderly conduct under the After School Program Coordinator.

This temporary, part-time position pays $15 per hour, is hourly, and starts immediately. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED preferred, with strong attendance and reliability

Responsibilities

• Assists with roll call to ensure accountability for all students
• Assists in planning and implementing student activities for assigned classes
• Assists in maintaining proper records; assists in the distribution of snacks
• Actively supervises students during daily activities
• Maintains expectations for students’ behavior and safety and informs Assistant Coordinator of difficulties requiring disciplinary action
• Attends and participates in After School Program staff meetings and required training sessions
• Maintains a good attendance record and makes Assistant Coordinator aware when needing to be absent
• Follows appropriate procedures for emergencies such as student or staff health concerns, severe weather, suspected fire or facility issues
• Ensures adherence to good safety procedures
• Follows federal and state laws, as well as School Board policies
• Performs other duties as assigned
