Job summary

YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is seeking a part-time Jr. Program staff member to assist with supervising a safe childcare program at designated sites. You will plan and participate in group activities for 10–15 children, ensuring safety and engagement while building positive relationships with participants.

The role requires an 18+ age with a high school diploma or GED, CPR/AED/First Aid certification renewed annually, and the ability to work beyond regular hours. Jr.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must stay current in CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually.
• Jr. staff may be 16-17 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising a safe childcare program by planning and participating in activities with children.
• Establish positive relationships with participants and staff.
• Plan weekly activities for groups of 10-15 children.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all children.
• Take attendance and ensure proper sign-in/out.
