OVERVIEW

The After School Program Aide will assist in various duties that support the program and permanent staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the day‑to‑day operations of the After School Program
• Participate in weekly staff meetings
• Provide snacks to the after‑school program participants
• Assist with the monitoring of program participants during activities
• Take the lead in program activities
• Assist with the transportation of program participants
• Ensure the safe check‑in and check‑out of children participating in the after‑school program
• Assist with cleaning and resetting program areas
• Assist with cleaning of the kitchen and dining area
• Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• CA driver's license (required)
• 21 years of age (required)
• Experience working in an after‑school program
• Experience with Microsoft programs

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Team player
• Great communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
