Job description

Essential Functions

Plan and implement a fun and engaging after school program for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Supervise and manage students, promoting student success and satisfaction.

Utilize positive behavioral management to support students, and work with and report to program facilitator.

Maintain a daily schedule and routine, manage daily attendance, supplies, equipment, program spaces, and collaborate with teachers.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver programming for 4‑6 year‑olds.
  • Supervise and manage student behavior.
  • Implement positive behavioral strategies.
  • Coordinate with program facilitator and teachers.
  • Maintain daily attendance records and daily schedule.
  • Manage program supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain program spaces.
Qualifications
  • Experience leading elementary students in a group setting.
  • Associate’s Degree in education or related field, or prior experience teaching a specialty area to elementary‑aged students.
  • Experience working with children in group settings.
  • Ability to form positive and supportive relationships with children and adults.
  • Strong flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Schedule
  • Lead Instructor: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 2:30–5:00p.m.
  • Program Lead Instructors (Wednesday) 12:00–5:00p.m.
Compensation

Pay range: $18–22per hour, based on individual qualifications. Includes a competitive benefits package.
