Job summary

Prior Lake - Savage Area Schools is seeking a Kids' Company Assistant for Five Hawks Elementary. The role supports the Kids' Company Program by assisting the Site Leader in planning daily activities and supervising children in a safe, engaging environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years old, with CPR/First Aid certification or training after hire. Prior experience with young children is preferred and the role is on-site at multiple school settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year experience with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Leader in planning and carrying out daily activities.
• Supervise children's activities and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Support and implement discipline procedures as needed.
• Participate in games, projects and activities as a positive role model.
• Maintain program supplies and communicate needs to Site Leader.
• Be available on release days as scheduled.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
• Promote teamwork and a positive image of the program.
