Burke’s seeks a music lesson instructor in our After School Music program, offering private piano, guitar, drums, and/or voice lessons to individual students in grades K-8. First and foremost, we hope to introduce and nurture a joyful relationship with each instrument for our students, setting them up for a lifelong love of music. Our after school music instructors meet the child where they are, whether they are beginners or developing musicians. Instructors may draw on classical training or music choices that reflect student interests. While teaching theory and technique, our instructors emphasize the importance of fun and the student-teacher relationship. We love to welcome professional, practicing musicians to our program and can offer flexibility in regard to performances and tours.
