Job summary

Play-Well TEKnologies in Providence, RI seeks dynamic instructors to lead LEGO classes and camps. You’ll teach STEM concepts through hands-on LEGO activities, guiding diverse learners while ensuring safety and fun. Flexible afternoons and weekend hours are available in school-year sessions and summer camps.

Ideal candidates have teaching experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift materials. Background checks are required; driving and setup duties are included in compensation.

Qualifications

• Teaching/Instruction experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation a must; secure location to store teaching materials.
• Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials; bending, stooping and crawling with children during class instruction.
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach LEGO classes and camps, introducing a range of STEM concepts while engaging students in hands-on activities.
• Manage each class session to ensure safety, engagement and enjoyment for children.
• Communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful and timely manner.
• Adhere to Play-Well safety procedures and supervise release of children.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of materials and kits for each session.
