Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator in Washington to support before- and after-school programs focused on fostering a love of learning in a safe, engaging environment. The Educator will prepare activities, lead curriculum-aligned sessions, and participate in daily program meetings to drive progress and collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service, teamwork, and experience with children under 13.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals and progress, share ideas, and promote teamwork.
• Organize and lead daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Lead by example to maintain a safe, nurturing environment while meeting goals.
• Monitor safety, document attendance and incidents, and follow protocols.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
