Our Lady Queen of Peace School is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Lead Teacher for students in grades K4–3. You will supervise 5–8 children, create a safe and welcoming environment, and lead activities such as crafts, gardening, games, and LEGO.

The role involves teamwork with a group of young adults, promoting positive behavior and inclusion while providing engaging, age-appropriate activities after school.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage approximately 5–8 students after school.

Job description

Our Lady Queen of Peace School is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable After-School Lead Teacher to work with students in grades K4–3.

The After-School Lead Teacher will care for approximately 5–8 students at a time while creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. Activities may include:

• Outdoor play and playground time
• Arts and crafts
• Gardening projects
• Group games
• LEGO building
• Creative and imaginative play
• Other engaging activities based on students’ interests

The Lead Teacher will work alongside a team of young adults to supervise students, plan activities, promote positive behavior, and ensure that every child feels safe and included.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2:45–5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 1:45–5:30 p.m.
• Applicants must be available at least three afternoons each week.
